Terms of Use and Disclaimers
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using fullscopemoney.com or engaging with any content or services from Full Scope Money, LLC. By accessing the Site or engaging with our content, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Full Scope Money
Full Scope Money, LLC is a financial coaching practice founded by Barb Fallon, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and former forensic scientist. We offer financial coaching, financial education, and related services designed to help clients understand their relationship with money, build sustainable financial habits, and align their money with their values.
2. Educational and Coaching Purpose — Not Personalized Financial Advice
Important: The content on this Site, including blog posts, downloadable resources, worksheets, podcasts, videos, social media, and emails (collectively, the "Content"), is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this Site, and nothing communicated during financial coaching engagements, constitutes personalized investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, insurance advice, accounting or fiduciary services, or a guarantee, projection, or promise of any specific financial outcome or result.
Financial coaching focuses on financial education, behavior, mindset, habits, organization, and goal-setting. It is distinct from financial planning, investment advisory services, tax preparation, or legal services. While Barb Fallon holds the CFP® certification, Full Scope Money is not currently engaged as a registered investment advisor. To the extent any service requires licensure, Full Scope Money does not provide such services through the Site or through coaching engagements unless expressly stated and properly licensed.
3. No Professional-Client Relationship from the Site
Use of the Site, reading the Content, or contacting us through the Site does not, by itself, create a coaching, advisory, fiduciary, professional, or any other formal relationship between you and Full Scope Money. A coaching relationship is formed only upon execution of a separate written coaching engagement agreement and payment of agreed fees.
4. You Are Responsible for Your Own Decisions
Any decisions you make based on information from the Site or from coaching engagements are your own. You should consult with qualified, appropriately licensed professionals — such as a registered investment advisor, attorney, CPA, or insurance professional — before making decisions that could materially affect your financial life. Full Scope Money strongly recommends that clients build a team of trusted professionals.
5. No Guarantees
Personal finance outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including but not limited to your individual circumstances, market conditions, economic conditions, your effort, your follow-through, and decisions made by you and others. Full Scope Money does not guarantee any specific financial result, outcome, or improvement. Any examples, testimonials, or case studies on the Site reflect individual experiences and are not representative of typical results.
6. Intellectual Property
All Content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, downloadable worksheets, frameworks, methodologies, and the name and brand "Full Scope Money" — is the property of Full Scope Money, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The signature methodology "Analysis With Empathy" and the tagline "Focus on life" are proprietary to Full Scope Money.
You may download or print Content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, republish, sell, license, or commercially exploit any Content without our prior written permission. Worksheets and downloadable resources are licensed to you for your personal financial use; redistribution, resale, or use as part of any competing service or program is prohibited.
7. Testimonials and Endorsements
Any testimonials displayed on the Site are from actual clients, used with their written permission, and may be edited for length or clarity. Testimonials reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee similar results for any other person. Full Scope Money complies with the CFP Board's rules on testimonials and endorsements and with applicable Federal Trade Commission guidelines.
8. Third-Party Resources
The Site may recommend books, podcasts, websites, or other resources. These recommendations are provided for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party resources, and recommending a resource does not constitute an endorsement of every view expressed by its author or producer. Where we have any material financial relationship with a recommended resource (such as an affiliate relationship), we will disclose it clearly.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the Site, the Content, or any coaching engagement shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees you paid to Full Scope Money in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, fraud, willful misconduct, or violations of statutory consumer protection rights.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Full Scope Money, LLC and its members, employees, agents, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Site or the Content; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights; or (d) any decision you make in reliance on the Content or any coaching engagement.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no representation that the Content is accurate, complete, current, or applicable to your situation.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved as described in Section 13.
13. Dispute Resolution — Informal Resolution, Then Arbitration
Informal Resolution First
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us in writing at the address provided and give us a reasonable opportunity (at least thirty (30) days) to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Site, the Content, these Terms, or any coaching engagement shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Charleston, South Carolina, or by remote means as the parties agree. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Exceptions
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for claims relating to intellectual property, confidentiality, or unauthorized use of the Site.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through a prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any coaching engagement agreement you sign with us, constitute the entire agreement between you and Full Scope Money regarding your use of the Site and our services.
17. Accessibility Statement
Full Scope Money is committed to making its website accessible to all visitors, including those with disabilities.
